BIO

Peter is a passionate creative with a lifelong love for the arts. His natural talent for music was evident early on when his music teacher discovered he had perfect pitch, enabling him to play any song by ear. Despite pursuing a degree in Management, majoring in Information Systems at the Ateneo de Manila University, Peter remained captivated by the creative world. During his studies, he balanced academics with his passion, joining film shoots and interning at Hit Productions, a leading music production company in Makati.

Driven by curiosity and a desire to deepen his craft, Peter attended the International Academy of Film and Television, where he was awarded Best Thesis and the Academic Achievement Award. Afterwards, he joined several local filmmaking competition that got him grand prize for festivals such as Sinulog Short Film Festival, and the URC/PC&V C2 Music Video contest. His journey continued in Los Angeles, where he spent a year attending directing courses at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Peter's entry into advertising when veteran commercial director R. Jorolan invited him to co-direct and serve as his second unit for several of his big projects. Soon, Peter landed his own projects. While the advertising landscape has changed dramatically over the past years, Peter remains committed for the quest for creativity and collaboration — after all, every project is unique and provides the opportunity to work alongside fellow creatives.
